Week 11 NFL Power Rankings

8.     857        Kansas City Chiefs

Record: 7-3
Last Week: 6

No Marcus Peters meant a long afternoon for the Chiefs defense against the most targeted WR in the NFL in Mike Evans. Alex Smith isn’t looking like the solid QB he has known to be in the past and it’s taking its toll on the offense. The red zone interception kept the Chiefs off the board and it’s the last thing that this team needs as they have only put up 29 points in the last 2 weeks.

7.     im5xz2q9bjbg44xep08bf5czq        Washington Redskins

Record: 6-3-1
Last Week: 8

The Redskins faced a reeling Green Bay team this weekend and its tough to really see how good this Redskin team is. Their schedule to date hasn’t been the toughest, and they haven’t really put any team away, minus this past week. Kirk Cousins started this year out checking down to his safety routes, but lately has been able to stretch the field with Jamison Crowder being his go to man.

6.    919        New York Giants

Record: 7-3
Last Week: 7

The Giants defense is holding the team together right now and the offense is going to have to step up and put more points on the board if the Giants want to continue this incredible run they’ve been on. Odell was basically non-existent against a porous Bears defense and it took Eli stepping up in the 2nd half for them to pull this one out. The Giants are 2nd in their division right now behind Dallas, but the team is still fighting hard, one loss by Dallas and the Giants could overtake them with the tiebreaker.

5.    y71myf8mlwlk8lbgagh3fd5e0        New England Patriots

Record: 8-2
Last Week: 5

The Patriots didn’t do it as quickly as they have in the past, but they knocked off the San Francisco 49ers after suffering the home defeat to Seattle the week before. The offense looked a little slow to begin the game, but it’s tough to get anything going when you are playing in a torrential downpour for most of the game. Although Brady made it look easy as he threw for 4 touchdowns and no interceptions.

4.     9ebzja2zfeigaziee8y605aqp        Denver Broncos

Record: 7-3
Last Week: 3

The Broncos were on a bye this week and the team can use this to figure out their offensive situation a little bit more. The Broncos are looking at 3 more road games and 3 more home games to finish up the season, and finishing the season at home against Brady and the Patriots could be a great way to get some momentum going into the playoff run.

3.     pfiobtreaq7j0pzvadktsc6jv        Seattle Seahawks

Record: 7-2-1
Last Week: 4

The Seahawks are looking like the typical November and on team that we have come to know them as. Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin both threw for a touchdown this week and Thomas Rawls made his 2nd debut of the season after injuring his ankle earlier on in the season. Unfortunately, both team took a big hit on the injury report, but Seattle could be looking to replace 2 running backs and Earl Thomas who injured his hamstring going for an interception in the 2nd half. Rookie CJ Prosise, broke open a 72 yard touchdown run in the 1st quarter, but ultimately left the game early with a scapula injury and could potentially be out for up to 8 weeks.

2.     g9mgk6x3ge26t44cccm9oq1vl        Oakland Raiders

Record: 7-2
Last Week: 2

Mexico City hosted the Raiders and the Texans on Monday night and the Raiders were at the center of some controversy this week after a few calls went their way. The real story of this week was how the team was able to overcome being outplayed for most of the game. Derek Carr is continuing his MVP caliber performance, throwing for 295 yards and 3 touchdowns. Oakland accumulated just 120 yards through 3 quarters before exploding for 14 points.

1.     406        Dallas Cowboys

Record: 9-1
Last Week: 1

Dallas struggled early on against the Baltimore Ravens, but were able to turn it around and record a franchise record 9 straight wins. At a press conference last week, an emotional Tony Romo handed the team over to Dak. Dak went off this week as he only had 9 incompletions, finishing the day off 27/36 for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns, 2 of which were to Dez. This team showed a few flaws in their armor this week, but at this point it still looks like the road to Houston runs through Dallas.
