When it comes to kicks, there is nothing more important than comfort. We’ve come a long way from the days of playing basketball in a pair of Chucks that had the same cushioning as a loafer. When it comes to innovation and new technology, nobody does it better than Nike. Runners, athletes, and sneakerheads alike are always craving more from their shoes. More cushion and less weight led to the inspiration of Nike Zoom Air.

In the spring of 1995, Nike introduced Zoom Air, which is an ultra-responsive sliver of cushioning to road, track, court and field footwear. The first sneaker we got with Zoom Air cushioning was the Nike Air Zoom LWP, with many other sneakers featuring Zoom Air to follow in the years to come.

After dominating the running world, Nike integrated the Zoom Air cushioning into its basketball sneakers. With basketball players running an average of 400 miles over the course of an NBA season, these athletes needed something that would take care of their feet. Enter Zoom Air technology. One of the best things about the Zoom Air technology is it offers a low profile without sacrificing the benefits to the athlete. From Jason Kidd (Air Flight 95), Scottie Pippen, to LeBron and Kobe; many of the world’s greatest athletes have performed at their best with Nike Zoom Air.

The next installment is the Nike Air Zoom All Out Flyknit.  It’s designed to help lock you down and propel you through your stride using a combination of Zoom Air cushioning, Mid-cut collar, and a Flyknit upper. This latest runner from Nike opts for a full-length visible Zoom Air unit.

You can’t go wrong with a sneaker that covers both performance and style, which makes these perfect for any rotation.
