Kevin Durant is having a killer season now that he is healthy and back to his MVP caliber form. Kevin only played twenty-seven games last season for the Oklahoma City Thunder and after injuries took their toll on the reigning MVP, you know something had to change. That something was a Durant’s signature shoe. Kevin was up in the air about staying with Nike last summer and Under Armour was in hot pursuit of the sharp shooter, but KD re-signed with the Swoosh. Durant and designer Leo Chang sat down and cooked up a design that was unlike any other we had seen.
We may never know if KD’s ability to stay healthy this season is attributed to the new signature sneakers or the training regiment that KD adapted in the offseason. One thing we can be certain about is that KD has balled out this year and has played all fifty-one games in the KD 8. He’s definitely back to his old ways.
The KD 8 “Midnight Navy” has such a clean colorway that you could rock these on or off the court if you want. That white flyweave upper with navy blue accents goes perfect with a Thunder home jersey or some Nike tech fleece joggers and hoodie. If you’re a Kentucky or Duke fan then you know these will go perfect with your getup. This may be the cleanest colorway of the KD 8 this year so you definitely don’t want to pass up this opportunity.
