5.) 1992- Magic Johnson- Converse Accelerator- All Star Game (Return)
In November of 1991, Magic Johnson announced to the world that he was HIV Positive, and immediately retired from basketball. Yet not having played, he was still selected as a starter for the West squad and in one of the best All Star Games ever, played an amazing game with an incredible finish. In classic Magic form he dazzled with passing, one on one matchups with both Isaiah and Jordan, and three point shooting including his last, falling away from the basket to beat the shot clock. The Orland crowd AND both teams were in such awe the final 14.7 seconds weren’t even played. The shoe you’ll forget, the moment, unforgettable.
