When it comes to sneakers, there’s no better feeling than when a brand rereleases a classic colorway that we haven’t seen for years. With many Jordan Brand retros getting new colorways this year that were subpar in some eyes; so to get a retro with an OG touch is always a blessing. Jordan Brand is also bringing back a lot of is low top silhouettes this year with the Retro 6 Low, Retro 13 Low, and the fan favorite; the Retro 11 Low. Everyone loves new creative colorways and stories that have never been done before, but when it comes down to sneakers; whether you’re an OG in the game or a young gun who’s just getting into kicks, there’s just something that can’t top an OG colorway.
The last time we saw the Retro 6 Low “Chrome” on shelves, it was back on April 27th, 2002 with a price tag sneakerheads would die for today. This Retro 6 Low gets decked out in a black upper with chrome accents on the midsole and back heel tab that blend together perfectly. JB did this retro right and didn’t tweak anything which make these the perfect retro. These low tops weren’t as well received as JB would have hoped, but there’s a lot of excited ‘heads waiting for this upcoming release. Make sure you grab your pair of the Air Jordan Retro 6 Low “Chrome” on August 29th at Finishline.com. Don’t get stuck having to wait another 13 years for these to release again.
