With 2015 marking the 25th anniversary of the release of the Air Max 90, we’ll be seeing the classic “Infrared” colorway of the model soon enough. Until then, though, Nike is not slowing down on other Air Max releases. And it looks like the bright red motif comes with more than just the signature colorway.
The first of the two here is the Air Max Tavas, a relatively new model from the brand behind the Swoosh. The Tavas takes cues from Air Max models spanning decades, but comes slimmed down with a mesh and synthetic upper. The visible Max Air unit and flashy accents give the shoe an updated take on the retro look.
We also have an Air Max 90 that pairs neutral shades with Hyper Crimson accents placed akin to some of the classic 90 colorways. Black mesh and different greys tone down the style for a tried and true look that speaks to all ages.
As the next weeks roll out, you can be sure that the attention on Air Max sneakers will be up, and there’s no doubt that solid releases like these couple are much of the reason for that.
