All the new gear makes winter fitness so much more enticing/bearable for me. When I need some extra motivation to stay on track, I find that new clothes usually do the trick. My Flash Zoom Structures protect my feet from winter weather conditions on outdoor runs, and the nordic print Hyperwarm tights and Aeroloft vest take care of the rest.
LIKE A BOY
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I often dip into the boy’s/men’s section from time to time. These pants were borrowed from the boyfriend’s closet (tucked and rolled at the waist and ankles), and my Stan Smiths are a boy’s (youth) size five. Not sure how you fit in kids sizes? Check out my tips here. Top it off with a cozy knit cape, and you’re good to go!
[ Shoe: adidas Original Stan Smith ]
It’s that time of year again, and if you’re braving the crowded malls for some last-minute shopping, plan your attire for success. I left my jacket in the car because it gets hot in crowds. I wore a loose long tee with ripped jeans and Stan Smiths to ensure comfort. There’s something about a pair of Stan Smiths that makes me feel instantly cooler.
[ Shoe: Nike Huarache ]
For easygoing weekends, I rocked Nike Pro tights and Huaraches, also from the boy’s section. Huaraches made a big comeback this year, so I made sure to scoop up the original “Scream Green” colorway. Tip: Size up in these, as the neoprene sockliner gives a snug fit. As for the tights, the light striped pattern offers a subtle change from regular black tights.
