Jordan Brand rarely falls short of supplying the people with what they want, and we have seen so many great retro releases over the past few years. We know so far that we will see releases of the Air Jordan 13 Retro in the Black/True Red and “He Got Game” colorways, and the Air Jordan 5 Retro in the White/Fire Red and “Grape” colorways this year. With all of these great retro sneakers on the horizon, it makes us wonder what other colorways of retro sneakers we would like to see from Jordan Brand in the near future.

In light of the Air Jordan 5 Retro making a comeback in 2013, there is one colorway released back in 2000 that would surely satisfy the appetites of Jordan lovers. Although not an original colorway, the Air Jordan 5 Retro White/Metallic Silver/Black was a very simplistic and subtle colorway that still had a very classic feel. It had an all White upper composed of a supple leather that was smoother than anything we have seen from Jordan Brand in recent years, and the overall quality on this retro was simply amazing.

Metallic Silver accents on the lace lock, fire design on the midsole, and the 23 logo on the side of the heel gave the shoe the perfect amount of pop along with the eye catching Metallic Silver 3M tongue. Black Jordan Jumpmans on the heel and the tongue of the sneaker added just the right amount of contrast branding to give them a classic Jordan look.

So far we have not seen any images or heard any rumors of this colorway of the Air Jordan 5 Retro dropping anytime soon, but JB has been bringing the heat as of late so the idea is not too far fetched. Stay tuned to Retro Corner for the latest information on retro releases from Jordan Brand.
