According to the Chicago Bull’s Twitter page, Derrick Rose could return to full contact practices by as early as this week. If all goes well, we could see the superstar return to the game sometime around the beginning of March, which has us wondering what shoes we can expect to see him lace up in.
Derrick Rose’s newest signature, the adidas D Rose 3.0 released at the end of last year, but we have yet to see the franchise athlete hit the court in a pair because of multiple knee injuries. Although you would think that the shoe would be his obvious choice, adidas will give Rose a hard decision to make thanks to the upcoming release of the adidas D Rose 3.5. Featuring a similar silhouette as the 3.0, the 3.5 features a couple of updates that not only make for a more stylish version, but also increase performance aspects as well.
On the all new 3.5, adidas SPRINTWEB technology spirals around the D Rose logo located on the upper quarter panel, and extends all the way to the toebox for a truly hypnotizing look. This new shoe also pays homage to D. Rose’s hometown with a patch on the inside of the tongue reading “Rooted in Chicago”. For added support, the 3.5 fits a little closer to the foot for an ideal lockdown fit.
We will surely see the all new adidas D Rose 3.5 on court this season by adidas sponsored athletes, and hopefully we will see the superstar himself return in them as well. The first colorways drop on January 31st, including a “home” and “away” versions, and they will be available on FinishLine.com.
