NBA All Star Weekend is about to be in full swing and while the game is important, the true skill being showcased is who can stunt the greatest. You might not be winning any dunk contests or getting a special one-of-one shoe like the league’s greatest, but Jordan Brand is making sure your sneaker game will be just as impressive with the dual Jordan 6 drop.
The White/Infrared pair is iconic for so many reasons—the Tinker Hatfield design still stands the test of time, the hits of Infrared are going to get you a few Instagram likes (#NoFilter), Visible Air unit, and the rear heel tab inspired by the spoiler on Mike’s Porsche. Between the heel tab and the fingerholes in the tongue, these are probably the easiest Jordans to put on. Not to mention, this was the shoe worn by his Airness as he finally overcame the Bad Boys of Detroit and Magic and the Lake Show to win his first NBA title in ‘91.
New to the Jordan Brand lineup in 2014 is the “Toro” Jordan 6 with an Infrared dominated upper, black midsole, and icy bottoms to protect them from yellowing. We like to think that even in his 50s, MJ could probably lace up in them for the All Star Game and drop a few signature fade aways on these young bloods. Don’t sleep, the Jordan 6 is still very functional on the court and looks just as good with some cuffed sweats when you’re chillin’.
You can pick up both pairs this Saturday (2/15) at 8AM EST on finishline.com.
