Before Jrue Holiday was dropping dimes and scoring buckets as a Philadelphia 76er, or even a UCLA Bruin, he was putting on a clinic at Campbell Hall High School in Studio City, California. During Jrue’s senior year at Campbell Hall High in 2008, he averaged a double-double, with 25.9 points per game and 11.2 rebounds. Perhaps more impressive, the point guard averaged 6.9 assists and 4.8 steals per game.
That year, Jrue led his team to a 31-5 overall record and the California Division IV State Title. Thanks to his impressive game play, Jrue was named the 2008 Gatorade Player of the Year, and also was selected for the McDonald’s All-American team as well as the Jordan Brand Classic.
