Not every sneakerhead is a street artist, and not every tagger is a sneak geek, but somehow the two cultures have always converged. Famed New York graffiti artist, Stash, has worked with Reebok in the past, and the two are once again collaborating on another series dubbed the City Classics Collection.
Stash himself has three of his own colorways cooked up of the Reebok Classic Leather, and he is leading the way by allowing other artists who represent major cities around the globe for contributing to the collection.
Artist Wane will be repping The Big Apple along with Stash, while EKLIPS from LA, POSE from Chicago, Totem from Atlanta, Mad from Philly, and Tati from Miami will each represent their own national cities.
Internationally, artist Rimo from Tokyo, Sicksystems from Moscow, Swifty from London, Da Flow from Mexico City, Rae Martini from Milan, and Monster from Paris will round out the collection with their own shoe pieces as well.
Most of the sneakers from the Reebok City Classics Collection embody the street art and graffiti culture represented by their respective cities, so each sneaker in the collection has its own unique artistic look. Some of the pieces of the collection are available now at Finishline.com, so head on over and see which pair represents your style the most.
