With eight signature sneakers in the books with Nike, it’s not at all unusual for people to forget where it all started for Kobe Bryant. Taking things back to when he rocked kicks from the three stripes, the adidas Crazy 8 (formerly known as the KB8) was Kobe Bryant’s first signature shoe.
Like the present, adidas was known for their daring design of sneakers that not only turned heads, but also broke down the barrier of innovative design. What better way to exemplify a breakthrough than to pair a signature line up with the heir apparent in the NBA at the time?
Although the Crazy 8 makes its rounds what seems like on a yearly basis, adidas always finds a way to add a bit of flavor and flair to the classic basketball sneaker.
This time around, they’ve decided that the original Black/White colorway is due to make a return, accompanied by some all-new color combinations to get the attention of those who weren’t previously fans of the model. Our favorite is the Blue/Vivid Yellow/Light Scarlet.
With all of the color choices, we’d suggest picking up a pair to wear, and maybe one to stock at Finishline.com.
