It’s been about 9 years since Nike first introduced their Free technology, and 9 years later, it’s still around and thriving. Nike’s latest model to feature the technology is the Free 5.0+ that was recently released.
Despite being a new model, Nike has already gone back to the drawing board to make the shoe even more summer-ready, with a breathable mesh material that stretches from the toebox to the quarter panels and beyond.
As expected, this shoe features a flexible Nike Free outsole for optimum mobility giving a natural feeling fit. Along the sides, Nike has implemented dynamic flywire to keep you shoe snug on your foot and reducing the feeling of a heavy and cumbersome shoe.
To bolster the release of this variant, the Nike Free 5.0+ Breathe is now available in three colorways, one with a purple upper, one in bright citrus and the last in sport turquoise.
It just doesn’t stop with Nike, as they continue to push the envelope, so have a look at these kicks over at FinishLine.com to better prepare yourself for some summer running.
