Under Armour’s newest creation, the UA Spine Venom, sports a fitting name that is as monstrous as the shoe itself. We have seen the UA Spine technology on other runners from this high performance sportswear brand, but nothing just quite like the Venom.
Last year, Under Armour unveiled their Spine technology, which created for an astounding lightweight and flexible shoe. That is the same technology that they equipped on the Venom, which only weighs 8.75 ounces. Encapsulated inside the Spine foam is UA’s Micro G foam which delivers a high amount of energy return upon foot strikes. For extra stability, the Venom features a TPU plate in the heel that is not too rigid and won’t sacrifice comfort. The upper is made from a very breathable mesh with an underlay of MPZ structure that protects the foot and makes for a more supportive upper. To top things off, the full length molded 4D Foam sockliner and collar conforms to the exact shape of your foot, ensuring that they fit correctly and won’t cause slippage.
It’s simply amazing that Under Armour could equip a shoe with all of these great features, and still make it only weigh 8.75 ounces. The UA Spine Venom could very well be the best runner from Under Armour yet, and they are now available on FinishLine.com.
